Summertime is truly a magnificent season filled with cherished moments spent with family and friends. During the scorching hot months, I find immense joy in engaging in activities such as savoring delicious barbecues, relishing refreshing pool time, and immersing myself in the enchanting melodies of live music performances.

I would consider myself a Columbia, Missouri native! I moved to Columbia in 1998 to attend the University of Missouri –Columbia and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology in 2002. I began working as a licensed Team Member for a State Farm Agent in 2002 and began my career as a State Farm Agent January 2006.

I married my amazing husband, Mike, in 2005 and we have 4 wonderful children. Our lives are busy but I wouldn’t change it for the world! I truly believe work/life balance is so important! My husband and I go on regular date nights which are so much fun! My kiddos and I love to try new recipes and we cook and bake every weekend! As a family we LOVE playing board games, being crafty and enjoying the outdoors! I absolutely love spending time with my friends whether it is eating, shopping or working as a team to complete a breakout room. Every month quite a few of us ladies get together and play BUNCO. I have been in one of my Bunco groups since 2006! It’s such a wonderful time lots of laughs and delicious food!

There are so many things about Columbia that make it so great a small town community with the wonderful elements of a city. If you are relocating to Columbia the only two streets you need to know are Providence and Stadium if you know these two streets you can get anywhere! There are so many wonderful local boutiques, restaurants and of course the schools and colleges. I spend quite a bit of time with local schools in Columbia and in my heart I feel as though the schools are the foundation of our community.
